Located on the north shore of Kauai, one of the smallest of Hawaii's six islands, Princeville is home to numerous seaside and beachside resorts. Surrounded by rugged terrain and fluted sea cliffs rising dramatically out of the ocean, Princeville offers some of the most scenic views on the island. Puu Poa Beach is a beautiful and popular site for recreation, with swimming, kayaking, snorkling and scuba diving all popular ways to explore the surrounding coastline. Wildlife is plentiful in the area, including tropical plants, birds, fish and whales, and area caves play host to several species found nowhere else in the world. A panoramic view of it all is available from Heli USA Airways, who offers sightseeing helicopter tours that depart from an exclusive heliport in Princeville. Golfers also have several courses to choose from in the area, including the prestigious Prince Course.
